Simple frequency-dependent tools for control system analysis, structure selection and design

چکیده
Al~ t rKt -The paper presents results on frequencydependent tools for analysis, structure selection and design of control systems. This includes relationships between the relative gain array (RGA) and right half plane zeros, and the use of the RGA as a sensitivity measure with respect to individual element uncertainty and diagonal input uncertainty. It is also shown how frequency-dependent plots of the closely related performance relative gains (PRGA) and a new proposed disturbance measure, the closed-loop disturbance gains (CLDG), can be used to evaluate the achievable performance (controllability) of a plant under decentralized control. These controller-independent measures give constraints on the design of the individual loops, which when satisfied guarantee that the overall system satisfies performance objectives with respect to setpoint tracking and disturbance rejection.

Load-Frequency Control in a Deregulated Environment Based on Bisection Search
Recently several robust control designs have been proposed to the load-frequency control (LFC) problem. However, the importance and difficulties in the selection of weighting functions of these approaches and the pole-zero cancellation phenomenon associated with it produces closed loop poles. Also the order of robust controllers is as high as the plant. This gives rise to complex structure of s...
متن کاملEarthquake Analysis of Base Isolated Structures Including Soil-Structure Interaction
A frequency domain dynamic analysis is needed to obtain the response of structures constructed on a system of base isolators on flexible soil when subjected to earthquake ground motion. In such systems, the lateral stiffness of the base isolators is so small, compared to the structural stiffness, that in an earthquake attack the fundamental vibration mode dominates the response. With this in mi...

متن کاملRobust Fuzzy Gain-Scheduled Control of the 3-Phase IPMSM
This article presents a fuzzy robust Mixed - Sensitivity Gain - Scheduled H controller based on the Loop -Shaping methodology for a class of MIMO uncertain nonlinear Time - Varying systems. In order to design this controller, the nonlinear parameter - dependent plant is first modeled as a set of linear subsystems by Takagi and Sugeno’s (T - S) fuzzy approach. Both Loop - Shaping methodology and...
